Sales Inquiry Create

This screen is used to create sales inquiry which is the predecessor of sales order. The following are the descriptions of the data held.

Header Information

Inquiry No. - Default inquiry number is automatically created but a customized inquiry number can be keyed in for subject sales.

Date - Enter the date when the sales inquiry is received. Click the Calendar icon to popup calendar selection window and select the date.

Taken By - The user-id that the Sales Inquiry was taken by

Cust. Ref - Reference sales inquiry number provided by customer

Item Information Entry

Quantity - The quantity requested by customer

Condition - The Part´s condition requested by customer. Click on the arrow to select the ´Condition´ from the dropdown list. Available options are ´New´, ´Overhauled´, ´Serviceable´ and ´Unserviceable´.

Remarks - Any remark for the Sales Inquiry

´ADD Item´ button - Click on the ´ADD Item´ button to add current item into the sales inquiry

´Save & Return´ button - Click on the ´Save & Return´ button to save the sales inquiry and return to previous sales order list screen, but if there is no any item added, the sales inquiry number will be discarded.

Item No - Item number in the sales inquiry. An item number is automatically created when a Part is added to the sales inquiry.

Qty/UoM - The quantity and UoM of the item
