ATA
- The ATA Chapter numbers provide a common referencing standard for all commercial aircraft documentation.
The standard numbering system is controlled and published by the Air Transport Association in
ATA Specification 100 - Specification for Manufacturers' Technical Data.
When available, you can click on the
icon to display the pop-up window and select a valid ATA Code.
NOTE: The ATA Chapter must be setup in the associated Validation Table and can
be setup with 2, 4 or 6 digits.
Following ATA Chapters are pre-defined:
"05": For Chapter 05 Maintenance Inspections,
"98": For Non-repetitive SB's and AD's, and
"99": For Repetitive SB's and AD's.
Service Suffixes will inherit the ATA Chapter of the parent Part Number.
