Batch Number - The batch number is a unique number generated by the system during receiving.
The Batch Number consists of 3 sections:
  • XXX: A three (3) digit identified for the Base Code where the material was received at.
  • 99: The last two (2) digits of the year in which the material was received, and
  • 1234567: An incremental number.


  • NOTE: A Consumable Batch will have an additional suffix "0", like: XXX/99/12345670 where Rotables only have XXX/99/1234567.

    NOTE: Theyear and incremental number are re-set automatically during the first receipt of each new year.

    NOTE: Upon "Batch Split" a Consumable Batch can be splitted an located at a different location. The Splitted Batch will get a one (1) digit suffix: E.g. Original Batch: XXX/99/12345670. Splitted Batch: XXX/99/12345671.
